Foodservice Sanitation Training and Business and Development Manager

Food Service Sanitation Sales and Training Mgr.~ Jan/San industry. This position is designed to provide consistent and strategic in-field sales support to our core Food Service sales team's efforts in selling Janitorial products and solutions across Southern California. In addition to field work, the Business Development Manager will also participate in strategic initiatives, sales meetings, and other program enhancement activities. This position will also be expected to originate new customers to IFS and then assist the assigned seller with developing this business. This classification requires considerable exercise of initiative and independent judgment.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with IFS sellers to identify prospects and new leads.
  • Meet or exceeds established sales goals and performance benchmarks.
  • Assist the IFS sellers in successfully selling janitorial items and programs into existing and new customers.
  • Assist with, and approve, end-user pricing on Janitorial items.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all things jansan at IFS.
  • Cold call on new prospects and funnel leads and new customers to IFS sellers.
  • Maintain a fierce cadence of follow-up with IFS sellers and customers.
  • Stay extremely organized and maintain a plan for executing on pending projects.
  • Track all sales activities in company pipeline management tool and keep it current by updating account information regularly.
  • Create and deliver presentations on janitorial products to both end users and groups of IFS sellers.
  • Participate in meetings to review sales performance, program development and areas of improvement.
  • Occasionally attend supplier meetings to be the voice of the field.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturer Representatives on market opportunities and training.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
